WOODHULL, N.Y. — The Close Racing Supply NY/Penn IMCA Modified Series returned to Woodhull Raceway on Saturday night for the 6th Annual Sean Lias Memorial presented by Chasin Dreams Transport and Lubic Sales and Marketing, featuring an 18-car field battling for 25 laps.

Laceyville, Pennsylvania’s Tyler Belcher piloted his No. 7B machine to victory lane after starting on the pole and leading the field to the checkered flag. Belcher’s win came over Jacob McConnell in the No. 777, who advanced two positions from his fourth-place starting spot to finish second. Jakub Ingham drove the No. 943 to a third-place finish, while defending series standout Keith Lamphere charged from seventh on the grid to finish fourth in the No. 98K, gaining three positions during the feature. Charlie Fulton rounded out the top five in the No. M64.

One of the night’s biggest movers was Mike Wilcox in the No. 10, who raced from 18th to tenth, gaining ten positions and earning hard charger honors. Jay McConnell also made an impressive run, advancing five spots from 14th to finish ninth in the No. 112.

Heat race victories went to Charlie Fulton (M64) and Doug Stack Jr. (41S). Fulton advanced from fourth to win Heat 1, while Stack Jr. led Heat 2 to secure his victory.

The Sean Lias Memorial once again provided exciting racing action for the Woodhull Raceway faithful, with drivers from Pennsylvania and New York putting on a competitive show as the NY/Penn IMCA Modified Series continued its 2026 season.
